Our mission is to inspire artists and audiences alike by creating extraordinary works of art through original productions and performances in a supportive atmosphere of excellence, while educating and enriching our community locally and abroad.
Wilmington Dance Theatre has entertained and delighted audiences at the Wilson Center as a resident nonprofit company performing original productions of “The Sleeping Beauty,” “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, ““Cinderella,” “Hope Has Come,” “Pinocchio,” “Masterworks,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Americana,” “ The Nutcracker “, and many other beloved fan favorites.
Since 2007 WDT has been sharing the performing arts through local outreaches, ministries, schools, assisted living homes, hospitals, festivals, and has toured to perform from Orlando, Florida to New York City’s Times Square in Project Dance.
